Default Beowulf the Movie!

I really really really.. thought the movie was going to bomb since it was totally done in CGI! But after reading the reviewers and stuffs, the movie turned out to be decent. Anyone going to see it this weekend?

Here are the review from Yahoo Movie page!

I'm checking it out this weekend. It looks pretty cool even though it's all in CGI.

It has a 73% so far at Rottentomatoes

Meh the is not that great and epic, it doesn't follow the poem it was based on at some parts. IMO CGI movies will always fail.

It was okay. A little less epic than I thought it'd be.

Of course, expectations are high these days (thanks 300), and I have yet to see someone be more badass than Kratos.

Superb CGI, though. Saw it at IMAX 3D, and found it very believable.

The actors were real, most of the time. Beowulf=100% CGI.

I think it's CGI with Reality
Like Final Fantasy, The other one, not FF:Advent Children

I'll buy a copy off a mate

I hate the cinema...every time I go there is some self styled 'critic' sitting in front of me

if you call taking in $455,816,691 world wide then yes it failed miserably.

Also with the exception of the flying body parts all the actors where real and only the scenery was CGI.

Beowulf uses the digitized faces of real actors and puts them on a CGI body. Which why Angelina Jollie is Naked Golden and has a tail.

Okay, went and saw this movie yesterday. Excuse me for being a total prude here but PG-13??? The only reason I can figure this didn't get an R rating was because it's CGI. Just an observation there. They did a lot of angles and incredible lighting that I don't think you could get if it was a live movie. I thought the red-head warrior had the most realistic face.

It was cool, annoying in a way though seeing the character movement. We are getting closer and closer with computer animation to realistic but from some reason movement is still very far behind. Oh! and most important I did feel like I was watching a WoW or GW trailer the entire time during the movie :P

And 300 was awesome

*grumbles about crazy people*
